Our Projects

Every tree planted, every fence built, and every project completed carries a story of hope. In this section, we share the moments that matter most — the small beginnings, the voices of local youth, and the legacy of Luc Innocent.

These stories are short and visual, yet they represent something much bigger: your support turning dreams into action in Figuier and beyond.

Project Updates – See Your Impact Grow

In July 2025, our team planted 51 fruit and forest trees between Luc Innocent’s home and his parents’ property. With the support of five hoses and a spray nozzle connected to the new household reservoir, these trees are thriving. Donors receive regular photo updates that highlight each tree’s growth and the youth employed to care for them.

Hope for Education – Toussaint Louverture School of Mapou

In October 2025, our foundation visited Toussaint Louverture School of Mapou, located in the Monbaya Area, Commune of Gros-Morne, Artibonite Department, Haiti.
The video shows that the school was closed and in need of help to reopen — classrooms were empty, unmaintained, and silent after a year of financial hardship.
Through the generous support of donors, the school has now reopened, bringing back joy, learning, and opportunity for children in Mapou. Parents continue registering their children with renewed faith in the future.
Through the Half-Scholarship Program, parents contribute part of the tuition, and the foundation covers the remaining portion — ensuring that every child has the chance to return to school.

Your continued donations will help us keep classrooms open, support teachers, and give even more children the chance to learn.

Community Voices – The People You Empower

With the foundation’s support, I was able to work planting trees this summer. It gave me income to help my family and also made me proud to protect our land,” says Fadner, a 26-year-old from Figuier who planted the first 51 trees.

Achievements – Milestones Made Possible by You

The household water reservoir at Luc Innocent’s property was completed in July 2025. Luc began this project before his passing, and his children finished it in his honor. Today, the reservoir sustains the newly planted fruit and forest trees and will support future agroforestry projects

Legacy Stories – Carrying Luc Innocent’s Vision Forward

During his lifetime, Luc Innocent always leased his land to struggling families for agriculture, ensuring they could plant crops, feed their children, and support themselves with dignity. His generosity gave families not only food security but also hope for a better future.
The newly purchased land — located next to his house and behind his parents’ home — was once a pasture and forest used for goats, donkeys, and other animals. Now, for the first time, it has been secured, fenced, and reserved for agriculture and training projects under the foundation.
Thanks to your support, his generosity continues as a legacy of opportunity for the next generation.

A newly acquired piece of land near Luc Innocent’s house, purchased by his niece and children for the Fondasyon Luc Innocent pou Devlopman Kominotè. Measuring 42.50 meters in length and 32.50 meters in width, the site already benefits from natural shade trees and will be developed into a community livestock and farming project. A reservoir will also be built to secure water for animals and crops.

In the coming months, the foundation will introduce fruit trees and diverse crops, transforming this site into a resilient model of agroforestry and sustainable farming that strengthens food security and livelihoods in Figuier, Anse Rouge, Haiti.

Your support today will mark the beginning of this journey — this land will be fenced, planted, and cultivated to become a place of nourishment, training, and opportunity for families in Figuier. Together, we will turn a bare field into a thriving future of hope and resilience.
