On November 11, 2025, Fondasyon Luc Innocent pou Devlopman Lakay organized a memorable Mango Seedling Planting Day & Training in Figuier, Anse-Rouge. With the participation of an agronomist, schoolchildren, teachers, and families, the foundation planted 34 mango seedlings on the property of Luc Innocent and his parents — honoring his legacy while sowing seeds of hope for the future.
Educational Training at the Public Primary School of Figuier Anse Rouge, Haiti

The day began at the Public Primary School of Figuier, where an agronomist delivered a dynamic training session covering:
– the importance of fruit trees
– the value of mango seedlings
– environmental protection
– long-term community benefits
The children listened attentively, excited by the idea that the trees they plant today will feed families tomorrow.
Mango Hands-On Planting at the Property

After the training session, participants continued to the prepared land at Luc Innocent’s home. Led by the agronomist, about 12 mango trees were planted in the property’s yard garden.
The remaining seedlings were distributed to selected households near the school and throughout the village.

Lunch, Drinks, Entertainment & Community Joy
Following the planting session, everyone enjoyed a shared meal of food and juice, followed by entertainment and games. Parents expressed gratitude:
– children ate well
– the community gathered joyfully
– the event created a memorable experience
Many families shared that their children often have only one meal per day, making this moment especially meaningful.
Supporting the Local Economy
To reinforce economic development, the foundation intentionally purchased and rented items within the community:

– 4 dozen chairs
– food ingredients
– community services
This brought revenue and support to local businesses, strengthening community ties.
Teachers from the public school also received food and juice as a gesture of appreciation for their continued dedication to children’s education.
Community Reaction: United, Hopeful & Ready for More
The community was amazed and deeply thankful for the initiative. Residents highlighted its positive impact:

– unity
– collaboration
– trust
– hope
– local economic stimulation
They shared that they are fully supportive and excited to participate in similar activities in the future. The event strengthened relationships, inspired the youth, and reinforced community pride.
A Vision for the Future
The newly planted mango trees are already transforming the appearance of the property. In the coming years, they will:
– provide fruit
– create shade
– support food security
– beautify the land
– attract visitor
– help stimulate local economic activity
They represent a future where agriculture leads to development, tourism, and opportunity.

A Growing Legacy
This initiative continues the vision of Luc Innocent, a man known for helping families through agriculture and generosity. His legacy lives on in every tree planted, every child smiling, and every moment of unity created.
Together, we are cultivating a greener Haiti — one tree, one training, and one community at a time.
