Who We Are
Luc Innocent Community Development Foundation is a grassroots organization created to support the communities of Figuier, Mapou, Anse-Rouge, and the broader Artibonite region.
We work closely with farmers, teachers, youth clubs, women’s groups, and local leaders to build practical, sustainable solutions in agriculture, reforestation, water access, youth leadership, economic development, and community health. We honor Haitian leadership, Haitian knowledge, and Haitian resilience.

Our Story
Luc Innocent’s Legacy
Luc Innocent Community Development Foundation was created in memory of Luc Innocent, a respected community leader known for his compassion, kindness, and dedication to helping others.
Luc believed deeply in education, unity, justice, and the value of every human life. He devoted his life to serving families in difficult conditions, encouraging young people, and supporting the most vulnerable.
Today, his family and community partners continue his legacy by planting trees, reopening schools, supporting elderly people, training youth and women, empowering families, and building a better future for rural Haiti — one household, one generation, and one community at a time.

Many of the youth he once helped are now returning as teachers in the Foundation’s vocational programs—proof of his lasting influence. His family and friends established this Foundation to honor his vision: building water reservoirs, planting trees, empowering youth, and creating opportunities so rural communities can thrive.
